Ian Waugh’s As He Lay Falling, Ainslie Henderson & Will Anderson’s Monkey Love Experiments, Martin Smith’s Seagulls and Rory Alexander Stewart’s Wyld are in competition at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. This will be the world premiere for As He Lay Falling, Monkey Love Experiments and Wyld, and the first UK screening for Seagulls, following its European premiere at Berlin.

Seagulls and Wyld have been selected to play in the Youth in Flames programme on the 19th and 21st June. Monkey Love Experiments has been shortlisted for The McLaren Award for New British Animation, and will feature in the first McLaren programme on 22nd June. All four shorts plus Cara Connolly and Martin Clark’s Exchange and Mart, will be screened in a Scottish Shorts programme on 28th June.

Tickets for all events go on sale at 10am on Monday 2nd June.

EIFF 2014 runs from 18th – 29th June in Edinburgh. It is the 68th edition of the festival which is supported by Creative Scotland, the City of Edinburgh CouncilEventScotland, the Scottish Government through the Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund and the BFI.
