Beautiful Seagulls artwork released

Check out the beautiful new poster for Martin Smith’s Seagulls. It was designed by the hugely talented Jen Davies.

Martin Smith’s Seagulls  and Cara Connolly and Martin Clark’s Exchange and Mart have been selected for Generation 14plus at the Berlin International Film Festival. This is Seagulls’ world premiere and Exchange and Mart’s European premiere after its bow at Sundance. Both films were produced and developed by DigiCult and Hopscotch through Scottish Shorts. Funded by Creative Scotland.

Developed by DigiCult’s Paul Welsh for Screen AustraliaSean Kruck‘s Snowblind has also been selected for Generation 14plus at Berlinale. This will be the film’s world premiere screening.

The Berlin International Film Festival is the largest public film festival in the world, showing around 400 films each year. This year it runs from 6th – 16th February.

Exchange And Mart Competes at GSFF 2014

Selected for Scottish and International Short Film Awards

Cara Connolly and Martin Clark’s Exchange and Mart has been selected to compete for the Scottish Short Film and International Short Film Awards at the Glasgow Short Film Festival. It will also have its UK premiere at the GSFF, which runs from 13th – 16th February.

Exchange And Mart is one of three Scottish films selected to compete in both competitions. This follows its world premiere at Sundance.

Cara Connolly and Martin Clark’s Exchange and Mart has been selected by Dazed Digital as one to watch at Sundance. It is one of ten films singled out by the publication. Exchange and Mart is playing four dates between January 18th -25th 2014 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s very cool (the film and the weather…)!

Miranda Nation’s Perception has its European premiere at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. The festival runs from 31st January to 8th February.

Developed by DigiCult/Edge City Film’s Paul Welsh, Perception was financed through Screen Australia’s Springboard initiative in 2012. It tells the story of a single mother and stripper who is diagnosed with breast cancer, and how she evaluates her life when faced with her own mortality.

Cara Connolly and Martin Clark’s Exchange and Mart has been selected for The Sundance Film Festival where it will have its world premiere screening. It was one of 66 short films selected from 8,161 submissions.

Exchange and Mart will play on four dates between January 18th -25th 2014 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. The film shares its name with the legendary publication.
